Valerie Pamela Binnion of Fort Myers passed away on Jan. 11, 2010 at Hope Hospice at Shell Point in Fort Myers. She was 76.

Born on Sept. 1, 1933 in Barailly, India, she was a child of John Fleming and Dorothy Olive (Gardiner) Hartley. Mrs. Binnion was a registered nurse and a member of St. Cecilia's Catholic Church in Fort Myers.

She is survived by her children, Fiona Binnion Norton of Newtown Square, Pa., Paul Fletcher Binnion of Villanova, Pa. and Mark Fletcher Binnion of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., seven grandchildren, Robert Alexander Norton III, Alyssa Gardiner Norton, Jack Macaulay Norton, Matthew Fletcher Binnion, Lauren O'Connor Binnion, Aidan Fletcher Binnion and Ian Hartley Binnion and her stepsister, Sheila Inglis.

She was predeceased by her parents and her sister, Norma Joan Hartley. Friends may sign the guest book at
