THIS INDENTURE Witneffeth, That Thomas McClocklin Son of John McClocklin of the Island of Jersey with the consent of his said father doth put himself Apprentice to William Hinchcliffe of St. Helen's in the Said Island of Jersey Stone Mason to learn his Art, and with him ( after the Manner of an Apprentice ) to serve, from the date hereafter until the full End and Term of Seven Years, from thence next following, to be fully complete and ended. During which Term, the said Apprentice his said Master faithfully shall serve, his Secrets keep, his lawful Commands every where gladly do. He shall do no Damage to his said Master, not for it to be done of Others, but that he to his Power shall let, or forthwith give Warning to his said Master of the same. He shall not wafte the Goods of his said Master, not lend them unlawfully to any. He shall not commit Fornication, nor contract Matrimony within the said Term. He shall not play at Cards, Dice, Tables, or any other unlawful Games, whereby his said Master may have any Lofs. With his own Goods or Others, during the said term, without Licence of his said Master, he shall neither buy nor sell. He shall not haunt Taverns or Playhouses, nor absent himself from his said Master's Service Day nor Night unlawfully. But in all Things, as a Faithful Apprentice, he shall behave himself towards his said Master, and all his, during the said Term. And the said Master shall teach, or cause it to be done to his said Apprentice the art of a Stone Mason which he ufoth, by the best Means that he can, shall teach and instruct, or cause to be taught and instructed; finding unto his said Apprentice sufficient Bout, brink, Lodgins, and all other Needs arise, during the said Term. as followized. for the first and second years of his said apprenticeship six shillings per week, for the third year eight shillings per week, for the fourth year nine shillings per week, for the fifth year ten shillings per week, for the sixth year eleven shillings per week, and for the seventh and last year thirteen shillings per week in full every other consideration whatever. And, for the true Performance of all and every the said Covanants and Agree- ments, either of the said Parties bindeth himself unto the others by thefe presents.
In Withness whereof, the Parties above named to these Indentures interchangeable have set their Hands and seals, the Seventeenth Day of January 1811 in the fifty first Year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord GEORGE the Third by the Grace of God, of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, King, Defender of the Faith, and in the Year of our Lord One Thousand Eight Hundred and Eleven and it is further covenanted between the said parties that in case of death to the said William Hinchcliffe within the said term of Seven years this Indenture to put over to brother Josoph Hinchcliffe, whereby the said Thomas McClocklin may just and lawfully serve his full term of Seven years.

McCLOCKLIN- Ray; passed away at the General and Marine Hospital, Owen Sound on Saturday, March 12, 1983, Thomas Ray McClocklin of Glenelg Township in his 81st year. Beloved Husband of Violet Banks. Dear father of Marjorie (Mrs. James Martin) Brampton Verna (Mrs. Walter Swannell), Alva (Mrs. Exley) , Leanna (Mrs. Gordon Bartman) all of Hamilton, Norma (Mrs. Glen McLean) of Flesherton, Donna (Mrs. McCracken)of Desboro, Maurice, Glenelg Township and Thomas of B.C. Also survived by 21 grand-children, 6 great-grandchildren, 1 sister Edna (Mrs. William Campbell) of Hanover and 1 brother Arthur, Glenelg Township. Predeceased by 1 sister Myrtie (Mrs. Frant Twamley) . Resting the McCulloch Funeral Home Durham where funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 15th at 2pm. Interment, Zion Cemetery, Durham Ont Canada. Donations to the Durham Memorial Hospital or the Owen Sound General and Marine Hospital Intensive Care Unit would be appreciated.

Violet Isabella McClocklin
Violet McClocklin, the former Isabella Banks, passed away at the Grey Bruce Regional Health Centre, Owen Sound on Wednesday, February 14th, 1996, in her 83rd years.
Dear mother of the two sons Maurice and Pam and Thomas, all of RR#2 Priceville and six daughters Marjorie and husband Jim Martin of Priceville, Vera and husband Walter Swannell, Alva and Roger Langlois, Leanna Bartman, all of Hamilton, Norma and husband Glen McLean of Flesherton and Donna McCracken and Howard Stephens of RR#1 Chesley. She is also survived by 24 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren and brother-in-law Arthur McClocklin of Durham.
She was predeceased by her husband Ray, three brothers Lloyd, Bill and Harold and one sister Ada Hanna. Violet was born in Nipigon, Ontario, Canada, Daughter of the late William and Margaret Banks.
She and Ray farmed in Glenelg Township. She was a member of the newly amalgamated Knox/Zion congregation in Durham. She was a part of the Glenelg Woman's Institute and enjoyed gardening, Knitting and faithfully attended the Senior's group at Glenelg Centre Baptist Church.
Funeral and committal services were held at the McCullock Funeral Home, Durham on Saturday, Feb. 17th at 1:30pm
Dr. Charles Quail, pastor of Glenelg Centre Baptist Church, officiated and Mrs. Tawnya Schlosser played the organ
Family and friends were reminded of the many good memories as three beautiful poems, written by her grandchildren Tammy McCracken, Patricia Weidemann and Rooster (David Bliedung) were read and two of her favorite hymns were played Nearer My God To Thee and Just a Closer Walk With Thee.
Flower bearers were Amanda McClocklin carrying the family arrangement, Pat Weidemann, carrying the grandmother arrangement and Adam McClocklin, Tammy McCracken, Chevon and Brendon Martin, Melanie Bliedung, Jarvier DeVal, Adam McLean and Adam McClocklin
Pallbearers were John Bartman, Greg Martin, Steven Swannell, Karl McLean, Franklin Jackson, Paul Exley, Arthur McClocklin and John Bliedung. Spring interment will be held in the Zion Cemetery, Durham Ont Canada.
