Mrs. Muriel Cousins succeeded her husband's aunt [Eva Cousins] as Post Mistress and ran the Post Office from her home, Angle View, for 24 years. Sadly on her retirement in 1988 no one was willing to take on the arduous job and there is no longer a Post Office in the village
