Due to an excessively jealous husband, Jennie Gladstone shot herself with the gun she intended to kill him with. She was a lovely artist's model. This particular night, he was badgering her and she went in to her dressing room, locked the door and shot herself. She had changed her name for show business purposes.

John Albert Ashley, Choctaw, early day state farmer who fought in the Civil War as a Confederate, will be buried in the Harrah Cemetery Monday afternoon following 2 p.m. services in the Choctaw Baptist Church.

Ashley, who died Saturday night in University hospital after an illness of several months, joined the Confederate ranks in Mississippi early in 1864 and fought until the end of the war. He was not wounded.

Ashley moved into the southern part of Oklahoma shortly before the turn of the century, and later moved to Choctaw. He came to the state from Texas.

Collyer [Collier] came from Aunty Joan's [Joan Elizabeth Franklin] hand written notes

There is no proof that Elizabeth is the daughter of James as Fanny had died at the end of 1849 and there is no record of James re-marrying. Elizabeth was listed with James [1823] and his daughters living with James [1786] and she is listed as grand daughter to James [1786]. So the line does follow through to James [1786] but not necessarily through James [1823].

115th Squadron flew Lancasters out of Witchhford, Cambridgeshire. Frederick John is listed on the Runnymede Memorial just outside Windsor.

The Air Forces Memorial at Runnymede commemorates by name over 20,000 airmen who were lost in the Second World War during operations from bases in the United Kingdom and North and Western Europe, and who have no known graves. They served in Bomber, Fighter, Coastal, Transport, Flying Training and Maintenance Commands, and came from all parts of the Commonwealth. Some were from countries in continental Europe which had been overrun but whose airmen continued to fight in the ranks of the Royal Air Force.
